Ryanair and Alitalia fly between Rome and Venice (journey time of under an hour). Ryanair (flying to nearby Treviso) offer some amazingly cheap prices. Or travel by train for about £35 (journey time of around 4½ hours).

The Arco degli Acetari is our own apartment. We love Rome and wanted to have a place of our own in the old city - we therefore bought this delightful apartment in its unique setting. In order to help pay the mortgage, we have rented it out for holidays. Since we bought it in October 2001, so many people wanted to stay there that we decided to look for other properties, owned by people we have come to know.

The Rome apartments are all in the 'Centro Storico' or old centre of the city. We want our visitors to be able to walk straight out of their front doors into the vibrant atmosphere that makes up 'old' Rome! The rents we have negotiated compare reasonably, both to other holiday lets and hotel prices. We also have available a property not far from Rome at Vallopara near Rieti.
