About Rome

Rome is a very beautiful place. It has so many different faces, all of them warm and welcoming. But what makes it so special for so many people? Is it that the old city is just one large friendly village, where local people and tourists blend perfectly into the surroundings? Is it that you can enjoy the contrasts of the modern, the religious and the ancient at almost every street corner? Or is it that the sun shines so much more than in our northern climes?

Rome is just the perfect place for a break, short or long, offering an unforgettable experience for people of all ages.

The Apartments

The Arco degli Acetari is our own apartment. We love Rome and wanted to have a place of our own in the old city - we therefore bought this delightful apartment in its unique setting. In order to help pay the mortgage, we have rented it out for holidays. We also offer a smaller bed-sit apartment near the 'Trevi' fountain which is owned by a friend of ours..

The Rome apartments are all in the 'Centro Storico' or old centre of the city. We want our visitors to be able to walk straight out of their front doors into the vibrant atmosphere that makes up 'old' Rome! The rents we have negotiated compare reasonably, both to other holiday lets and hotel prices.
We are a small family company based in London.

Prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£). We can accept payment in Pounds Sterling (£) and Euros (€)
We're delighted to be mentioned in the 2003, 2005, 2007, 2011 and now 2013 Time Out Rome Guide and also in the Time Out Shortlist Rome Guide 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011 and now 2012 - particularly as we think they are the best guides for visitors to Rome.
